Tyler's first taste of rice cereal.

We just started Tyler on rice cereal. He loved it...and although it is hard to tell, most of it made it in his mouth :).

Tyler has become very interested in drinking out of a big person glass. Most of it ends up on his shirt but he tries really hard.

Tyler really loves his new train he got from Tata and Jiddo!

Tyler has taken to chewing on his first finger and thumb.

We woke up this morning to a 59 degree house so we were all bundled up for a couple of hours.

Out to lunch with all of the babies :)

Tyler's Baptism

Tyler was Baptized today...He wore the same Baptismal gown that his daddy wore. It has been in the family for over 100 years and was worn by Ty's great great grandfather. It was a beautiful ceremony celebrated with friends and family. We were so blessed to have 2 priests and a subdeacon for the Sacraments. It was Father Theodore's first Baptism and Confirmation in the Maronite church. He was recently ordained as a bi-ritual priest for both the Maronite and Roman Catholic churches.

Tyler was entranced with the whole ceremony.

Ty fussed just enough not to get pinched :).

This is the only time in his life he will receive this anointing oil, unless he chooses to become a priest.

After the ceremony we lit the Baptismal candle and processed around the church.

After the Sacraments Father Theodore took Tyler up onto the altar.
